Technology Draft

In looking at the draft I agree that all students should recieve the same privaleges and that it would be nice to increase not only graduation rate, but also to increase the rate of students going to college. For me, I find this a hard to grasp, but with they use of technology and allowing all students to have access to them, this may allow for improvement. I believe that this will also be a difficult situation to provide technology for all students in such a time for cutbacks and how this will be possible for all students to have this accessiblity outside of the school atmosphere, especially since they want a 24/7 access for all learners. I really like that fact that it says all learners, because I believe that educators are involved in this category also. This plan will allow all stakeholders to have access to the technology and availability. Students will be able to access the world, parents will be able to be more informative on their childs education, teachers will be able to stay in contact and correspond with them and administration and the community will be able to keep up with their school community. This plan is designed to differentiate instruction to each childs needs and no longer will students be working all at the same pace. They will be able to work in a world that they can interact on their own level and will no longer be held back. I think that the biggest roadblock that schools will find is funding. I also believe that it will be difficult to train teachers adequately.
